HYDE PARK, Boston.- A 37-year-old Milton resident was killed Saturday afternoon in a shooting inside a business in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near 54 Walter Street at approximately 1:09 p.m. on September 26. They found Michael Lorenus suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Boston EMS pronounced Lorenus dead at the scene.
The Boston Police Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No additional information about the shooting was released.
