Two men were arrested on human trafficking warrants in Dorchester and Hyde Park, with both cases involving allegations of sexual offenses against minors.
Ted Petit Frere, 23, of Hyde Park, was arrested at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday, August 20, in the area of 66 West Street in Hyde Park, according to Boston police.
Petit Frere was wanted on a warrant from West Roxbury District Court. He is accused of trying to arrange sexual contact with a child under 16, using electronic communications to arrange sexual contact with a minor, statutory rape, exposing or showing a child in a sexual act, and trafficking a person under 18 for sexual exploitation.
In a separate case, Sebastien Francois, 27, of Dorchester, was arrested at about 7:20 p.m. Monday, July 27, in the area of 23 District Avenue in Dorchester.
Francois was wanted on a warrant from Dorchester District Court. He is accused of assault and battery, aggravated statutory rape of a child, providing alcohol to someone under 21, exposing or showing a child in a sexual act, trafficking a person under 18 for sexual services, trying to lure a child under 16, and using electronic communications to lure a child for human trafficking.
Police said the Human Trafficking Unit continues to investigate the cases and is working to identify and help victims of human trafficking.
