EAST BOSTON, Boston.- A high-speed police pursuit that began in Manchester, New Hampshire, ended with the arrest of a man in East Boston late Monday night.
At about 11:38 p.m. on August 10, a New Hampshire State Police Trooper saw a gray 2014 Toyota Camry traveling at 113 mph on Interstate 93 northbound in Manchester. Knell attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued at a high rate of speed.
The driver traveled onto Interstate 293 and Route 101 toward Bedford before making a U-turn near the intersection of Route 101 and Route 114. He then drove south on I-293 and I-93 before crossing into Massachusetts in Salem.
Massachusetts State Police took over the pursuit after the vehicle entered the state. The car was eventually stopped in East Boston near Boston Logan International Airport.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Joshua Joyce of Laconia, was arrested by Massachusetts State Police.
Police also determined that the Toyota Camry had been reported stolen from Massachusetts.
