HYDE PARK, Boston.- Four adults were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a school bus crashed and rolled over in Boston’s Hyde Park neighborhood, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to the accident shortly after 1:20 p.m. near the intersection of Cummins Highway and Harvard Street. Four adults were removed from the overturned bus and transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Boston Fire Department crews remained at the scene following the crash. Engine 53 stayed in place with a hose line deployed while awaiting a tow truck to upright the bus.
Officials did not immediately release information about the cause of the rollover or the identities of those transported.
