DORCHESTER, Boston.- Three loaded firearms were seized and three people were arrested early Monday after police responded to a large party at a short-term rental property in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood.
The incident unfolded at about 1:07 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, after the owner of a residence on Glenway Street requested police assistance removing partygoers from the property. According to the Boston Police Department, the homeowner had rented the residence through a short-term rental platform and met officers at the scene, granting them permission to enter.
As officers entered the home and announced their presence, several people attempted to leave through an upstairs stairwell. Police said officers then heard movement coming from a third-floor bedroom, where they found a man attempting to conceal an item beneath a pillow on a bed.
Officers seized a loaded firearm inside a bag beneath the pillow and arrested Ryan White Jr., 20, of Randolph.
While securing the room, officers encountered a second man exiting an adjoining bathroom. A search of the bathroom resulted in the seizure of a second loaded firearm equipped with an extended magazine. Daktari Rose Deacon, 20, of Hyde Park, was taken into custody.
During a protective sweep of another third-floor bedroom, officers seized a third firearm from a bag inside a closet, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
White is charged with carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, and carrying a loaded firearm.
Deacon faces charges of carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, carrying a loaded firearm, and possession of a large-capacity firearm.
A third individual, Jaymier Teixeira, 19, of Taunton, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after police said he repeatedly refused lawful orders to leave the area. All three are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
