DORCHESTER, Boston.- Two Dorchester residents were arrested Monday morning during a multi-agency human trafficking operation in Boston that resulted in the seizure of a loaded firearm and ammunition, according to police.
The operation was conducted at about 6:01 a.m. on July 13, 2026, by members of the Boston Police Department’s Human Trafficking Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, SWAT Team, and the Massachusetts State Police Special Services Section High Risk Victim Squad.
Police identified the suspects as Keysha Ortiz, 37, of Dorchester, and Yuberkys Recci, 29, of Dorchester. Authorities said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to identify, disrupt, and dismantle alleged human trafficking networks in Boston.
Investigators obtained warrants for Recci’s person, a residence on Magnolia Street, and a motor vehicle. During the operation, officers seized a loaded 9mm pistol and 200 rounds of ammunition from the residence.
Recci faces charges including kidnapping, trafficking of a person for sexual servitude, deriving support from prostitution, unlawful possession of a firearm, assault by means of a dangerous weapon involving a firearm, possession with intent to distribute Class A drugs, possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs, and witness intimidation.
Ortiz faces charges including armed career criminal Level Three, unlawful possession of a firearm, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute Class A drugs, possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs, and two counts of assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
