DORCHESTER, Boston.- A man was fatally shot Monday evening in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood, leading to an active homicide investigation.
Police responded at approximately 7:38 p.m. on June 22, 2026, to a report of a person shot in the area of 115 Milton Avenue in Dorchester. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound at 6 Selden Street, located behind 115 Milton Avenue.
Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
The incident is being investigated by the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit, which is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
