MATTAPAN, Boston.- A 16-year-old Mattapan resident who was fatally stabbed earlier this month has been identified as Zyarre Scott, according to Boston police.
Officers responded to a report of a person stabbed at approximately 8:26 p.m. on June 8 at 25 Astoria Street in Mattapan. Upon arrival, officers found Scott inside the residence suffering from a stab wound.
Boston Police officers and Boston EMS personnel provided medical aid at the scene before Scott was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing.
