BOSTON, Mass.- More than half a kilogram of crack cocaine was seized following a months-long narcotics investigation that led to the arrest of a 67-year-old Brighton man accused of distributing drugs across Boston.

The investigation concluded on Friday, May 22, 2026, when officers executed multiple court-authorized search warrants tied to Willie Wilkerson, 67, of Brighton.

Investigators conducted surveillance over several months and developed probable cause for warrants covering Wilkerson’s person, vehicle, and multiple associated properties.

On May 22, officers observed Wilkerson leaving a Dorchester residence and stopped him at a gas station near Quincy Street and Blue Hill Avenue. Searches of his person and vehicle yielded cash, keys linked to multiple locations, drug packaging materials, and 1.8 grams of crack cocaine.

Wilkerson was arrested and transported to a police station for booking.

A subsequent search of his Dorchester residence yielded additional packaging materials and a small quantity of crack cocaine.

Using recovered keys, officers secured a Brighton apartment tied to Wilkerson and later executed a warrant at the location, where they found more than half a kilogram of crack cocaine in a locked bedroom closet, along with scales, Pyrex containers, baking soda, and packaging materials consistent with drug distribution.

In total, investigators seized more than 644 grams of crack cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash. Wilkerson’s vehicle was also seized.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges including trafficking in a Class B controlled substance over 200 grams and possession with intent to distribute a Class B controlled substance.
