A 12-year-old girl from Dorchester has been reported missing after last being seen earlier this month, according to authorities.
La’Niya Johnson-Skinner was last seen on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the area of Mascot Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
She is described as a Black female, approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds, with medium brown skin and dark brown hair styled in a bun. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, a baby blue shirt with a Boston Renaissance logo, black leggings, brown sandals, and carrying a pink and black Elite backpack.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or reach detectives assigned to District B-3 in Mattapan at 617-343-4712.
