
Boston College High School has appointed Anthony Docanto, a 2015 graduate of the school, as its next principal.
Docanto, currently vice principal of student life, will oversee academics and student development. President Grace Cotter Regan cited his experience and commitment to Jesuit education as key factors in the selection.
A faculty and leadership member since 2021, Docanto previously served as a social studies teacher and head of Pro House. Board Chair Paul Donato described him as a leader focused on academic excellence and student formation.
A graduate of Boston College, Docanto is completing a doctorate at Vanderbilt University Peabody College, researching technology and AI in schools.
