The Boston Fire Department responded to a late-night fire in the Dorchester neighborhood on Wednesday.
According to an update posted by the department, the fire broke out at approximately 10:30 p.m. on March 18, 2026, on the top floor of a three-family occupied building at 152 Harvard Street in Dorchester. Officials reported that the flames extended through the roof, prompting a second alarm response.
Fire crews remained on scene working to contain the blaze as additional units were dispatched. A second alarm was formally called to bring in more personnel and equipment.
By around 11:00 p.m., authorities confirmed that all occupants of the building had been safely evacuated. No immediate injuries were reported.
