Families and neighbors are invited to celebrate the season at the Annual Pumpkin Parade, a festive evening of music, games, candy, and hot chocolate hosted by the Neponset Greenway Council, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, and the Neponset River Watershed Association.
Participants are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costumes and bring decorated or carved pumpkins for a chance to win a special treat, with candles provided for pumpkin displays. The event is free and open to all, with no registration required.
The Annual Pumpkin Parade will take place on Thursday, October 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Pope John Paul II Park on Hallett Street in Dorchester.
