Community members will roll up their sleeves this Saturday, September 27, to take part in the Neponset River Fall Cleanup, a regional effort to remove trash and debris from local parks and shorelines.
The event, organized by the Neponset River Watershed Association, will run from 9 a.m. to noon at multiple sites along the Neponset River Watershed. Volunteers of all ages are invited to participate in restoring the health and beauty of the river’s natural areas.
Organizers emphasize that there is a role for everyone, from families and scout troops to workplace teams and individual residents. An adult must accompany children under 15.
Those interested can still register online at neponset.org/cleanup
