A coordinated effort among multiple law enforcement agencies led to the dismantling of a drug trafficking organization early March 12, 2025. At approximately 8:25 AM, officers from the Boston Police Drug Control Units, along with City-Wide units, collaborated with the Auto Theft Unit, DEA Boston Strike Force, and FBI Task Force in executing the operation.
The investigation involved the simultaneous execution of fifteen search warrants targeting five suspects, six locations, and four motor vehicles. As a result, officers recovered what they reported as approximately 829 grams of fentanyl, 4 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $160,000 in U.S. currency. Additionally, a motor vehicle and a motorcycle allegedly used in the facilitation of fentanyl distribution were seized.
Four individuals were taken into custody and are facing various charges related to drug trafficking and distribution. Guerrero-Soto is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court. Juan A. Soto-Guerrero, 31, of Roxbury, has been charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute Class B substances, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
