Tayoan De Lima Santos is celebrating a life-changing victory after winning a staggering $4 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Lion’s Share” instant ticket game. Santos, a resident of Dorchester, opted for the cash option, receiving a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes.
Santos purchased his winning ticket at Mike’s Fuel & Food Mart located at 1455 Trapelo Rd. in Waltham. In recognition of this lucky sale, the store will receive a $40,000 bonus.
Santos plans to use his winnings for travel and home improvements.
