
On July 9, 2024, law enforcement officers from the Boston Police Human Trafficking Unit, Fugitive Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, and the Massachusetts State Police High-Risk Victims Unit executed a warrant issued by Dorchester District Court, leading to the arrest of Michael J. Cox, 39, in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The warrant included charges for Possession of Child Pornography, Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor, and Enticement of a Child under 16.
Officers approached Cox’s residence at 11 S Edlin Street, Worcester, announcing their presence before taking him into custody without incident. A subsequent search of the premises, conducted under a search warrant, yielded a significant quantity of crystal methamphetamine, multiple glass pipes, three cell phones, five hard drives, and two laptops. The seized crystal methamphetamine weighed approximately 462 grams.
Michael J. Cox faces charges of Trafficking of a Class B substance exceeding 200 grams, along with the charges specified in the Dorchester District Court warrant. He remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
