The fire broke out at approximately 7:30 a.m. at 1644 Dorchester Avenue, as reported by Boston Fire officials. It primarily affected the second and third floors of the under-construction apartment building.
In just a few minutes, the fire was brought under control.
Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries. The Boston Fire Investigation Unit is working to determine the cause of the fire.
