The Dorchester Elite Eagles Pop Warner 14U football team secured their first National Championship in Orlando on December 7, 2023. They triumphed with a 20-0 victory over the Darby (PA) Monarchs in the Division 1 Tomlin championship, marking a significant achievement for the program that had previously come close to nailing the title.

Finishing the season with an impeccable 13-0 record, the 14U team emerged victorious in Orlando by winning two pivotal games. They started with a commanding 31-8 triumph over Next Level Athletics (IL) on December 4, followed by a resounding 20-0 win against Darby. The journey to the nationals included a decisive 29-8 victory against Hartford in the regionals held in November.

In the prior year, the 12U Dorchester Eagles had secured third place in the competition but narrowly missed the championship, facing a tough loss to eventual champions Downington (PA) with a score of 14-0.

Representing the newly formed Metropolitan Pop Warner football and cheer league led by Dameain Mims, the Eagles join urban teams from Boston, Brockton, and Providence. This league, established in 2023, operates within the New England Region of the Pop Warner Little Scholars Organization.

The Dorchester Eagles Pop Warner Little Scholars, a non-profit organization, caters to youth between the ages of 5 and 15, focusing on football and cheerleading development.
