The event takes place from 9 am to 1 pm at DCR Neponset II Park in Dorchester, located at the Corner of Granite Avenue & Hill Top Street.
Enjoy free activities like canoeing, kayaking, and a spray deck for water play. There will be live music, environmental exhibits, food trucks, and ice cream to delight everyone.
This is a free event open to the public, so bring a blanket and a picnic to spend the day with your family. The celebration will happen rain or shine, except in cases of dangerous weather.
If you’re driving, limited parking is available at DCR Neponset Park, with more parking at DCR Pope John Paul II Park nearby. If you prefer public transportation, buses and trains to Mattapan or Ashmont will get you there.
