The Polish American Citizens Club Boston will host a fundraiser event in solidarity with Ukraine amid a Russian military invasion.
The proceeds from the event will go to Sunflower of Peace organization, a US-based non-profit organization whose mission is “to provide medical and humanitarian aid for people affected by Russian military invasion.”
Art and gifted items will be up for bid during a Silent Auction and Raffle. Music will be provided by DJ RedDepo (Peter Olejnik).
The event will take place on Saturday, March 5, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Polish American Citizens Club located at 82 Boston Street, Dorchester, 02125.
On February 24, 2022, Russia, led by President Vladimir Putin, launched a military invasion of Ukraine, an independent nation.
