In the “Tết in Boston 33rd annual festival, attendees will enjoy cultural dances, children’s games, and food.
The event is organized by the Dorchester organization Vietnamese American Community of Massachusetts (VACM) and the New England Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association (NEIVSA).
According to VACM, with 50,000 Vietnamese-Americans living in Massachusetts, the State has the highest population density of Vietnamese people in the United States.
Tết Nguyên Đán, or Tết for short, is considered the most significant and popular in Vietnamese culture. Celebrated on the first day of the first month in the Lunar Calendar, this year starts tomorrow February 1st, 2022, with the Year of the Tiger.
Tết in Boston 2022 will take place at the Flynn Cruisport (1 Black Falcon Ave, Boston, MA 02210) this Saturday, February 6th, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
