Hundreds more were injured.
Martin Richard was just 8 years old, and in the attack, his mom and sister were also severely injured.
On One Boston Day, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a new crisis our society is experiencing, the Dorchester Post remembers neighbor Martin Richard and also highlights the resilience of the Richard Family, who in moments of crisis transformed adversity into opportunity and decided to support the community and beyond through the Martin Richard Foundation.
