Photo courtesy of the Boston Fire DepartmentThe Boston fire department knocked down a fire occurring this afternoon in a residential building in the neighborhood of Dorchester, Massachusetts.
Today around 4:15 PM, when firefighters arrived at 357 Seaver Street, heavy flames were showing from the outside, according to the agency.
Twenty-five minutes later, the fire department reported the fire was extinguished, and all occupants were “safely” evacuated out of the building.
One resident was rescued from the third floor and also a cat.

The Boston Emergency Medical Services transported four occupants of the building. The feline was treated with oxygen because it was short of breath.
The Fire Investigation Unit is examining the possible cause of the fire, and the damages are roughly $ 100,000.
The Red Cross of Massachusetts is helping the five residents displaced by this incident.
