Of the 342 schools listed in the U.S. News 2019 Best High Schools ranking, the Boston Latin Academy ranks at #5 Best High School in Massachusetts, and #264 Best High School in America.
The highest-ranked U.S. public schools in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 Best High Schools rankings are those “whose attendees demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math and reading state assessments, passed a diverse array of college-level exams and graduated in a high proportion,” U.S. News explains in its website.
The school, located in 205 Townsend Street (Dorchester, MA 02121) is a public school founded in 1878 that serves “1,700 economically and culturally diverse students,” grades 7 through 12, the school says on its website.
