Some residents can file their taxes for free with the city’s Tax Help Coalition

Dorchester residents who earned $56,000 or less in 2019 can take advantage of the Boston Tax Help Coalition’s services, which include credit-building help and, new this year, assistance in opening secure bank accounts.

If you worked in 2019 and earned less than $56,000, you can go to one of the following sites in Dorchester to have your taxes prepared and filed for free:

  • ABCD: Dorchester Neighborhood Service Center: 110 Claybourne Street Dorchester, MA 02124
  • Codman Square Tech Center: 450 Washington Street Dorchester, MA 02124
  • DotHouse Health: 1353 Dorchester Ave Dorchester, MA 02122
