Reference imageNext week, on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019, Boston citizens are called to vote for their City Councilors, both at-large and in each district.
Following a soft primary turnout, voters will have the opportunity to choose their representatives at the Council from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM in polling locations around the City (check here your polling location).
Citizens of the neighborhood of Dorchester will vote for City Councilors at-large and the Districts III, IV, and VII. In addition to Council seats, the ballot will include a “nonbinding public opinion advisory question” about the “renaming of Dudley Square to Nubian Square.”
If you are unable to vote the election day, the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is November 4th, 2019, at noon. The process could be done by mail or in person at the Election Department in City Hall (more info here).
