(Photo courtesy of Matt Rusteika)Next month, the Boston Polish American Citizens Club (82 Boston St, Dorchester MA 02125) will be celebrating their 80th Anniversary of foundation with a gala and fundraising event. The organization has been a gathering spot of excellence and social club for Polish and Polish-Americans from all over the greater Boston area since their opening in 1939, and this anniversary event seeks to celebrate their commitment to the community and its members.
“The Gala is a chance to celebrate our history and our past, but to also look toward our future. With many ethnic social clubs disappearing all over the country, our club remains and we need the support from the community to help us stay open another 80 years!”
—Erica Manczuk Stocks, Boston Polish Club’s Recording Secretary.
The event, to be held on September 21st, will start at 8 PM and will feature a buffet dinner, raffle, dancing and music by Vademecum Band. Tickets will cost $100/person, and sponsorship opportunities will be available, starting at $500. For those interested in purchasing some tickets for the gala, check their official site here.
