Young Miss Dorchester during the Dorchester Day Parade 2018 | Photo by CRISTINA EDUARDOThe application process for the 2019 Little & Young Miss Dorchester contest —to take on May 18th— will end this Wednesday, May 15th.
These are the conditions to apply:
- The participants must be residents of Dorchester;
- Able to participate in the Dorchester Day Parade (June 2nd, 2019);
- Able to provide a copy of their birth certificate if they win or are a runner-up;
- They must write a response to a question made by the organizers (depending on the category, Little Miss and Young Miss get different subjects), and be capable of reciting it the day of the contest;
- Little Miss Contestants must be 7-9 years old on the day of the competition;
- Young Miss Contestants must be 10-12 years old on the day of the contest.
