Group photo during the 6th Annual Asian Women for Health Conference | Courtesy of Asian Women for HealthWith the goal of “shed light on how data can be useful to advance social justice and address health disparities,” the Asian Women for Health organization will host a conference to discuss the State of Asian women’s health in Massachusetts.
The conference will be focused on how to how to identify, collect and interpret “meaningful small population data” to inform program implementation and advocacy. Opening remarks will be provided by Chien-Chi Huang, Executive Director of Asian Women for Health, the master of ceremony will be Ramani Sripada, and this year keynote is Rahul Bhargava, Research Scientist of the MIT Center for Civic Media.
Moderated by Kimberly D. Lucas, Open Data Manager of the City of Boston, the panel discussion will feature Linda Sprague Martinez, Kathy Chang, Cindy Liu, Chihiro Sato, Dan Dooley, Susan Koch-Weser, and Giles Li.
