Boston Mayor Marty Walsh recently announced the beginning of the 20th Annual Neighborhood Coffee Hour Series that will take place in local parks citywide, from April 30th 2019 to June 19th 2019. Organized alongside the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, the Series is an opportunity for the city residents to speak directly with the Mayor and his staff from City departments about key issues and needs in the neighborhoods, along with discussions on open spaces and improvement upon local parks, public areas and city services.

Participants of the Neighborhood Coffee Hours will enjoy coffee and breakfast treats provided by Dunkin’ Donuts —along with eligibility to a raffle prize—, and fresh fruit from Star Market. Additionally, each family in attendance will receive a flowering plant grown in Boston’s greenhouses, as a gift from Mayor Walsh.
