The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce granted the Toussaint L’Ouverture honorary award to Dorchester State Representative Daniel Cullinane during a gala held at the town of Randolph, Massachusetts.
In recognition of “his outstanding service and contributions to the Haitian community in Massachusetts” the Chamber honored Representative Cullinane with their first ever Toussaint L’Ouverture Award during a first annual Haitian American Young Professional Awards Gala, an event celebrated on March 16th, 2019, to recognize the “personal leadership, public service and professional accomplishments” of Haitian young professionals under the age of forty-five years old.
“I am deeply honored and moved by this recognition of our work in the Haitian community. It has been a privilege to work with and support Patrick and his team in their efforts to bring the Haitian business community closer together with a strong online presence, small business training, networking workshops, and technical assistance,” Cullinane said.
“Dan has believed in our vision and potential from day one and for that we are grateful,” Hans Patrick Domercant, Founder and CEO of the U.S. Haitian Chamber, said during the gala.
Daniel Cullinane is the Massachusetts 12th Suffolk District State Representative, covering Dorchester and parts of Mattapan, Hyde Park, Roslindale, and Milton.
