Full schedule of this year’s Black History Month. (Credits: City of Boston)In order to celebrate Black History Month, the City of Boston will be hosting a series of events throughout the month for all ages and interests, highlighting the accomplishments of the Black community and their struggle for diversity, equality and inclusion. The first of these events took place last week already, a kick-off celebration honoring some of our local Black leaders such as Ralph C. Martin —former Suffolk County District Attorney— and Andrea Cabral —former Suffolk County Sheriff, at the Boston City Hall, where the Boston City Hall choir held a special performance.
Below there’s a list of all the events the City of Boston has prepared, in collaboration with the Boston’s Black Employee Network and the Mayor of Boston Marty Walsh, that will start next week:
