The BCYF Leahy-Holloran Community Center is offering the neighborhood a series of basic sewing classes for adults. Those who sign up for the 8-week session will learn how to choose fabrics, cutting out patterns, sewing pillow cases and even drawstring pants, putting that sewing machine stocked away at home to good use.
The classes will begin on Tuesday, January 15th 2019 from 6:30PM to 9PM, at the Leahy-Holloran Community Center (1 Worrell St, Dorchester MA 02122). The sign up fee is $60, those who might be interested must bring their own sewing machine, thread and scrap fabric for the workshop.
