Dorchester residents were taken by surprise today by the sight of snow in the middle of October, near the intersection of Pleasant St. & Savin Hill. The reason? The neighborhood is being used as the filming set of an upcoming movie called Wonderland, directed by Peter Berg and starred by Mark Wahlberg (The Departed) and Winston Duke (Black Panther). Extras and stars have been spotted around the area, according to neighbors.

The movie, according to iMDB, deals with an ex-felon called Spenser —played by Wahlberg, himself a Dorchester native—, returning to the Boston criminal underworld to unravel a conspiracy.
