(Archive)Last week, the City of Boston launched the Vote Early Boston website, providing voters with vital information about the early voting initiative and guiding them through the process for the upcoming elections in November 6th, 2018. The initiative will begin on Monday, October 22th 2018 until Friday, November 2nd, 2018, and during that period, registered Boston voters will be able to cast their ballots.
Anyone who’s registered to vote may do so at an early location, without requiring a reason like with Absentee Voting. During the period established for the early voting, the Boston City Hall (1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02201) will be the main early voting site, allowing residents to cast their vote during normal business hours on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the City Hall will be open until 8PM.

There will be an Early Voting Weekend event the weekend prior to the event, on Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th 2018, where nine early voting locations on each City Council District will be open in both days from 10AM to 6PM. According to the site, a multi-channel outreach campaign in several languages will be available to inform Boston residents about the initiative.
