The State Senate Official Citation was signed by Harriette L. Chandler, President of the Senate, William F. Welch, Clerk of the Senate, and by State Senator Michael Moore, who also delivered the recognition. The Official Citation from the State House was signed by Robert A. DeLeo, Speaker of the House, and Shrewsbury State Representative, Hannah Kane, who also delivered the award.
Both Citations were delivered to Juan Perfetti, editor of the Dorchester Post and founder of Comunicas, during a community gathering in Shrewsbury on March 1st, 2018.
